Q: What led you into your chosen profession?

A: I don't remember exactly when and why I decided to become a librarian, but I keep a very pleasant memory of the librarian at my local library when I was a child. So maybe it's linked.

Q: What book are you reading right now?

A: I have just finished Love by Toni Morisson. It is the first novel I have read from this author, and I must say, I like the way she writes. Now, I'm about to start Le Dormeur éveillé by J.-B. Pontalis, a French philosopher and psychoanalist. A completely different style...my reading is quite eclectic!

Q: Who do you admire the most (past or present) and why?

A: I don't think I admire one person in particular. It changes every day. It depends on my mood or the people I meet. Actually, I can admire a lot of people, because so many people can be admired for one day - it is, of course, much more difficult to be admired for a lifetime.

Q: What was the first and last music record you bought?

A: The first record I bought was by a singer for teenagers, I can't even remember his name, or I don't want to. The last one was 'Tuesday Wonderland' by Esbjörn Svensson Trio. I went to a concert given by this jazz group recently, it was really wonderful!.

Q: If you could have any career other than your chosen profession, what would you choose?

A: In another life, I would have dreamt to be a writer.

Q: If you could have dinner with any 3 people, past or present, who would they be?

A: As I like cinema, I would invite three great figures of the history of cinema: Charlie Chaplin, Roman Polanski and Emir Kusturica. Of course, the list is not exhaustive.

Q: Money no option, where would you like to go on vacation?

A: I would love to go to Iceland and Scandinavia to see aurora borealis.
