Q: How do you like to relax after work?

A: I enjoy watching professional football on television. I also love to listen to music, such as show tunes and big band music.

Q: Can you highlight three qualities of your institution?

A: We have wonderful faculty and staff at Texas State University. Many dedicated teachers, researchers, librarians and others who strive to make Texas State and the world beyond, a better place. I am, indeed, fortunate to work with such a great team. Over 29, 000 students are enrolled at Texas State and they come from all over the world. Being surrounded by such a diverse and talented group brings both challenge and excitement to the campus. There is always something new and different going on. Texas State fosters a wonderful environment for teaching, learning, and research. Not only do our students learn the latest research methods in their textbooks, they often observe them first-hand in their interactions with our faculty researchers.
